| NICK VE3NJG MAKES PUBLIC CLAIMS WHICH WOULD
LEAD ONE TO BELIEVE
THAT HE LIVES IN 'STATE OF PERFECTION'. I would like to remind him of something said by a wise man. Abraham Lincoln once said:

Being proficient
in Morse Code in 1965 an Amateur does not make Thee. Many a Boy Scout had
some Morse proficiency and never became an Amateur. Your License says you
are a Basic with a Morse endorsement. If you had been Licensed prior to
1991 when all the Basics were Grandfathered to Advanced you would be an
Advanced. Alluding to greater qualifications than actually one possess
does not confer them upon that person. Being a former Ham Instructor is
fine. If you had said that you were or are a VE then there would be a requirement
of holding an Advanced License.
The story of your
amateur activities continues and makes for an interesting read. As long
as the reader is insightful and sharp the extraneous information may be
excluded and then the story line becomes very thin. Don't they say that
there is always a thin person hiding inside?
