HERE IS PARAPHRASED SUMMARY OF WHAT WES ACTUALLY TOLD ME

WES SAID (paraphrased)

{ Hey I wasn't a bootlegger, I had a hearing problem, I couldn't copy the Code. I didn't do anything wrong, Industry Canada would have understood if told them, but I never did. SO WHAT NOBODY GOT HURT!}

After he and his Father Nick VE3DID went shopping for a hearing specialist Wes called me on the phone.

He asked me "why have you done this to me?"
"Do you know I had to spend over $200.00 for hearing tests?"

Excuse me?

What I had done was to tell him on the air that he did not have a Valid license to be on HF.

I wasn't the bootlegger he was.

Wes actually believed that I should have not said anything.

Wes thought I should have kept it under wraps.

In other words Wes expected me to be his accomplice.

The way his Father, Nick VE3DID was his accomplice!

If anyone should have stopped Wes it was his Father Nick VE3DID.

BUT HE DIDN'T!!

Nick VE3DID was his son's accomplice!

Nick VE3DID admitted to me on the air that he knew what Wes VE3ADU had been doing with his Basic No Code NO HF license.

All behavior typical of the Sawchuks.
They either draw you in so that you are part of what they are doing and therefore less likely to harm them by dropping a dime on them.
Or bully you so you have some fear of retribution if you cross them.
Thank goodness that these two are small timers.

And at Nick's age of 84 and Wes sporting two Heart bypass surgeries and multiple aortic stints we may not have to put up
with them much longer...............but who knows?

I hope they both live to be 120 because I love watching the show ;-)
